The members had been playing with each other in different bands and informal sessions for years and it seemed timely to join together to sprout a band. The joy and friendship, the hours of practice and rehearsal, the dedication to developing tunes with care shines through the music.Ceridwyn (Keri) Ames, banjo and vocals, has been a bluegrass enthusiast for a very long time.  Although starting on guitar, banjo quickly became her passion and focus for the last 6 years. Growing up in Ashland, Oregon, Keri has played in many groups including Hot Copper Kettle and Mountaintop Sound. Along with loving all things banjo, Keri is also an artist and above all adores her family and animals .

Born and raised in Ashland Oregon, Lela Miatke has been playing music since the age of eight. Growing up in a musical family, Lela gravitated towards the fiddle and spent her childhood traveling and performing with her dad and sister in the Ashland-based family band Rainy & The Rattlesnakes. An accomplished singer with a smooth and powerful voice, Lela accompanies her vocals with a lilting bluegrass and old-time fiddle style.

Walter Sydoriak, mandolin and vocals, began playing mandolin in the 1970s in New Mexico in a family of musicians. He has performed on many recordings and in many bands, including an early Strawberry Bluegrass Festival band contest winner The Generic Bluegrass Band. The Celtic band Bonnie Bedlam performed for sell-out concerts for over a decade. Now living in Ashland, Oregon, Walter still plays in numerous Celtic and other ethnic sessions in addition to folk and bluegrass.

Michael Lindgren, acoustic bass and vocals, disappeared into Alaska in his early 20's, and twenty years later surfaced in the great state of Oregon. During that time in Alaska he immersed himself into the thriving bluegrass and old timey scene, attending festivals regularly, and picking up banjo, guitar and bass skills along the way. After finding the bluegrass scene in theRogue Valley, and many years of participating in various performing groups and regular jams, Michael has found his fortune in Chasing Keridwyn, which puts his bass and vocal skills side by side with four other immensely talented pickers and singers.

Dan Popelka, guitar and vocals, was born and raised in La Crosse, Wisconsin into a very musical family and has lived in the Rogue valley since 2013. Having played many instruments throughout his life, his primary focus is on the guitar which he has been playing for over 20 years. His musical interests are broad and wide-ranging, and Dan loves to see, as well as play, live music. Where there's a show, you will probably find Dan. His love for bluegrass, however, is deep and his guitar playing reflects his love of the genre and the community within it.
